I truly believe that the most effective government policy is based on common sense; expands opportunities for people; and leads to a better quality of life for all of us.

That’s why I ran for the 6th District State Assembly seat, and what I stand for as your representative.

I believe my experiences as a business owner and community leader have prepared me well for this position. Having worked with state legislators and agencies to develop and fine-tune legislation over the years, I am very familiar with the legislative process in Wisconsin. On the federal level, I’ve worked with many organizations to provide input on trade, commerce, and agriculture policy issues, as well.

I’ve also had the opportunity to serve on many boards of directors, where the main responsibilities included setting goals, establishing policies, and providing direction. A successful board works together as a team to come to a consensus and make the best possible decision – a successful legislator does the same.

Lastly, I’m doing my part to find answers to issues that affect not only the 6th Assembly District, but the state of Wisconsin. Economic development and jobs, agriculture, health care, and education – these are all issues on which I try to listen to and understand different points of view. In my experience, by finding common ground on an issue, people can work together on a solution.
